One Point Perspective

We were assigned to do a One Point Perspective drawing in class. I took inspiration from a close up of a park bench. I really liked the shading and value range on my drawing. I wish i had used my time more wisely and taken more time to really make it the best I could have possibly made it.

Still Life

For this drawing, we had to draw a picture using 3 objects that we had brought in or used from around the room. I forgot to bring in my items so I used the book I was reading "The Family Romanov: Murder, Rebellion, and the Fall of Imperial Russia", a wine bottle from the classroom, and my phone. I liked how I drew the cast shadows and how the shading of my book was. I wish I had chosen different objects because they didn't quite go together as well as I had hoped.

Self Portrait

In class, we had to do a self portrait. I didn't get it fully done and I wished I had given myself more time to do it.

Charcoal Drawing

For my charcoal drawing, I decided to draw a close up of a girl. I wanted to use this picture because I liked the detail on it and I like drawing faces. I liked how good my blending was and my use of the 6 parts of light. I didn't like how some areas aren't blended very well and some of the highlighted areas stick out more than other areas.
